Actually I think the PV is free format, so you might get 1.Nf3 d5 2. .... or
b1c3 d7d5 or Nb1c3 Pd7d5, or even as you say "knight closer to his king looks
good" :)
But since PV's are not always accurate I think playing by that strategy would
guarantee you a loss.

Perhaps we could zip the exe (with a password) and send it to the referee before
the match. Should there be any allogations or suspicion later on, the auther
gives the password to unzip it and the referee can have a look at the binary.
That way the referee doesn't get a lot of free programs (like Ferret) for no
reason at all.
