In that first game, she blundered horribly at the end or else she would have won
easily, as would most anybody over about 1600 strength.  Also, she may have
resigned in a salvagable position.  (I didn't play over the other game in which
she was up a piece so I don't know if that one was an easy win too.)

I assume time pressure was a key component here, despite the time odds he gave
her.
