Over a year ago, I did a brief survey and maybe wrote some notes on paper.  I
don't know if there's a comprehensive and up-to-date comparison on the web.
Perhaps you could write one when you've completed your research?

BTW, there are MANY other places online where people play chess.  Off the top of
my head, I can think of Yahoo, Pogo, Playchess.com, WorldChessNetwork, zone.com,
and Playsite.  Most if not all are free.
