well as a slightly related idea, imho it would
be more convenient, when reading long threads,
to read the whole thing 'at once', i.e. all
messages directly after each other in one message;
(then you don't have to switch back and forth
through each message, or pressing next every time
and seeing long quotes again in the similar message).

Maybe this could be made by a sort of 'append
task', which would add the name of the author
and the latest added message to the thread,
below within the original message, and subsequently
replacing it with the newer (longer) message.

Just a simple idea, but on the other hand
it would be substantial change to the setup
of all these webpages i presume..
