I think, this would be very risky. One could probably find easy rules for
certain wins (say several pieces, that are not all the Bs of the same color, and
no immediate stalemate, perhaps more is needed). There will be some draws, that
could be detected rather easily (4 rook pawns, defending K close enough to the
corner. pawns of the color of the promotion square could be Bs.). For probably
any "practical" situations, that will not be covered by the rules, a very
shallow search will help. If the evaluation returns +15 or some mate score will
not matter (unless one wants to find the shortest mate fast).
