Is there any chance SSDF will test the Chessmaster 9000, preferably with known good alternative settings, like the CM9_Utz12n settings? Even if it isn't sent to you by somebody (which probably isn't to be expected)? It really isn't too expensive for the enthusiast. Maybe you can get the King engine running in the Fritz GUI like many other users do. In that case the games could be played automatically AFAIK, like with all the other. You'd just have to decide which book to use (or generate a book for it from a one of the large games databases which are available free). I think anything (any compromise) will be better than simply not to test the CM9000. It would mean one of the Top-10 programs is missing in the list. It could even be that it's one of the Top-3 (very good results of the Utz setting indicate that it's possible IMO). http://www.skpfaeffikon.ch/Utzinger/Downloads/CM9utz12n_settings.htm Regards, Mike Scheidl
