Here's something strange: Each time i set up and an engines match between Hiarcs 8 and Deep Fritz 7, Hiarcs was not winning the series but almost all the game in convincing fashion and that at any time frame i was setting. Then someone on the Playchess.com server told me that I should change Deep Fritz 7 parameters as following: Hash Tables = 16 Open Files = 6 King's safety =2 and Pawn levelers= 4 And now Deep Fritz is humiliating Hiarcs 8 by winning all the games in stunning fashion. Does anybody have an explanation for this? The guy said that he got this parameters changing tip from one of Deep Fritz 7 programmers. Though I didn't believe(I am very skeptical by nature) him but this tip is working, so....
