I assume that you have some sort of either (a) set up problem here,
or (b) a hardware problem.  I tried this and my version plays either
Kg7 or h7 depending on the time limit.  But it certainly doesn't
"wander around aimlessly."

Something is wrong on your machine, what is unknown,
however...
