It's hard to answer your question because one doesn't know which OS you are running under. I'm not an expert - so what follows was my experience under WIn2K When Fritz was installed, it did not copy the book to the hardrive - it left it on the CD - which is fine except when you don't have the CD in. I manually copied the *.ctg files to (on my machine) the default folder (under Win2K) "D:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\ChessBase\Books" (my "D"Drive has the OS). It still did not work. There are two other files which must be copied *.ctb and *.cto. After I copied those files - the book worked. This may help. I'm not sure.
