I contacted Marty and found that he is still selling MCHESS 8. Here is the portion of our email correspondence: [ I have Mchess Pro 8.0 available. This comes on a CD - Rom with a 50-page (MCHESS 7) manual. Compared to version 7.0, version 8.0 has: Fantastic opening book with huge variety Click on Book Moves to play them Adjustable rating Chess Teacher and other improvements. There is no other version coming out in the near future. I have just a few of the manuals left, and after that it will be CD-Rom only. Version 8.0 is a MSDOS-based program but it runs under Windows 95 and up (including Win XT and Win XP). The price is $29.95 plus shipping ($5 for Priority Mail within the USA).
