Chessmaster 9000, on a P3-733, does not see it, preferring either Nf3 or Be3:

A little move-forcing seems to indicate that the default personality would need
to get to depth 14-15 to see the move.

As for HIARCS' defense, perhaps 20...Be8 was bad? CM prefers 20...Bxd4 with a
draw score:

Somebody will need to do better analysis of this position, as my machine is just
too slow these days.... :-(

Following the actual moves that were played, CM starts to see trouble quickly
after 23.Bh6. That's when the evals go above 1.0....
