Go up one level in this thread

I just received an answer on the problems reported when using Firtz by Chessbase
. I must admit that at least in my case they were very timiley in answering to
my letter (5 days). Here is the full answer letter:

It does not say anything about offerring me a free update or at least a patch to
the problems. In the meantime, waiting for Fritz 6 or whatever I've downgraded
to Fritz 4 (which was fortunately included in the crdom) which does not seem to
have any bug whatsoever, has all the main functions, appears to work also more
sharply (less burden on the system). I just regret paying double for the most
recent program however; had somebody on this list told me of these problems
before I would have bought Fritz 4 instead of Fritz 5 (or Rebel -- I owned a
copy of chessmachine in the past -- one of the hardware Risc ones -- custumer
care was excellebnt -- In one occasion I lost the installation diskette and the
sent another copy to me without any expenses in a very short period of time --
Please forgive me for betraying you Ed!).
