I think that it is safe to assume that Fritz8 will be stronger than deep fritz7 after the ssdf get it. I believe that the first public version is only a beta version and the real public version that is not a beta version is the version that the ssdf are going to test and the public is going to get together with them as an upgrade. This is typical for chessbase to do it and they did the same with Fritz6 and Fritz6a and I believe that they did the same with Fritz7 when the first versions had bugs. Uri
