Same problem here with the 3. move under linux compiled with the pentium-compiler. Crafty crashes with the 3. bookmove segfault with core- dump. What I saw in the Makefile, Bob, the CPU=-m486 ? No pentiumpro? Never had this problem with earlier versions. Perhaps some compiler have problems wit the new code? Peter
