Could be parameter or hash settings? so P4 P3 11 sec > 26 sec 14 sec > 34 sec 19 sec > 45 sec 40 sec > 94 sec or all around 2.3 to 2.4 times faster. that seems consistent with my benchmark of my old PIII@750 against the new one. I guess all kinds of resident software will slow things, but that must be the same with your CPU, I guess. And now for the KN's, well this is telling absolutely nothing. (Is it?)
