Hi, chessbase save all your settings on engines.ini, however everytime you start fritz it just load the engine with the defaults one, you don´t need to set the settings again, just click "Restore" (on the engine parameter option) and your settings will be set again (it's different to "Defaults" but chessbase just made it confuse)... the only way to make the changes permanently is using a Hexadecimal editor directly on the engine but that´s to you. Why chessbase people don´t let the user change differents settings for every engine?, after all the best way to check if a setting is better then other is matching them... I already did it with Nimzo 8 because i don´t like the way it play, so i change the "defaults" settings and now i have 2 nimzos: Nimzo8 and NimzoX and of course i can use them simultaneously, but probably chessbase people don´t like it.
