Hi Petr! There are two possibilities to solve this annoying problem: 1. You buy Fritz-8 ! In the new GUI the parameters can be stored! 2. (Cheaper...): You use Shredder as an UCI-engine under the Fritz-7-GUI! You find Shredder Paderborn as UCI-engine under C:\Programme\ChessBase\Shredder6 Classic\Engines . Then you can create a new engine with your own settings (and another name). This is only working with Shredder6 because it is also UCI-engine. Have fun! Peter
