But he always made jokes with me like recently in >Leiden, "parking not allowed here for germans" with a grin in his face. > >Regards, >Gerd yes gerd. it was always very nice with jan. he teased us germans :-))) thats ok. i don't like germans too that much. but it was meant friendly. jan was really somebody who helped that computerchess, especially the dutch computerchess, has a big influence today. so many people could not have enjoyed computerchess without Jan Louwmann. we all have to thank him for pushing this or that program, doing this or that. no wonder dutch championships, dutch computerchess is so big and so many talents come or play in leiden. what a sad moment.
