He was invited back because, collectively, the moderators want this.  There
wasn't an official vote, but I saw positive posts coming from Amir and Don, so I
asked Steve to turn Rolf back on, rather than wait until Monday, which would
have been the alternative.

No.  I don't even know if he wants to come back.  Maybe he hates us and doesn't
want to come back.  That's his right and his business.

This didn't have anything to do with the previous group of moderators, unless it
also has to do with the current group of moderators, since we could have done
this any time during the last three months.  Rolf wasn't kicked out by
moderators, he was kicked out by the founder's group.  I think that the
founder's group made a bad mistake, as can be verified via examination of
anything I have written on the subject during the last year.
