Another recollection is that there was considerable discussion among the Founders about what the general rules of conduct should be within CCC (thus the sign-up sheet that we all have to agree with to become membrs) but at that time and till the present decisions have been on a "need to act upon" basis. One thing that we did find out (from a past poll) was that the membership is quite conservative when it comes to what they are willing to tolerate in off-posting. The results of that poll are on the "CCC Opinion Poll" link. "Need to act upon" may not necessarily bad. After all, who could have predicted some of the nonsense that has transpired in the last few months. How do you plan for or preemt such a phenomena? Impossible. Reacting to it may be the best plan of all. Amir, Bruce, and Don have done a good job in my opinion. -Steve
