I playes it against Atlanta 40/2 - Atlanta is a faster searcher - but CT chess knowledge prevailed. CT plays very well at long TC for such a "weak" processor. I was impressed by game. CT saw everything before the Atlanta - and the Atlanta sees almost 10x more nodes - but the Atlanta program is old Fritz - 3.01 I believe -- Fritz was a speed searcher back then - current Fritz has much more chess knowledge. Fritz 7 is slower than Fritz 6, but Fritz 7 plays better because of the increse in knowledge. Fritz 3.01 has very litle knowledge - but was able to out search many of the programs of the day . CT 15 is much stronger than CT 14 BTW,
