I just want to signal this clear disagreement from my side, although I am well able to smile about the irony that the founders among each other were no longer sure and saw different reasons why they did it when they did it, already soon after Chris Whittington strongly had recommended it, and after they voted upon it: sadly it seems everyone voted for different reasons and not based on a real consensus of principles (whatsoever these might have been). This admitted confusion is the *only* reason why I accept Bob Hyatt's evaluation of it as a 'kangaroo court' with a smile. Yet I keep up my point of view that for me personally there was no doubt that the decision was ok then, and I would be ready to defend this decision towards anyone, anytime, and vote just as I did then if I had to vote again, according to principles valid for me then and now, perhaps other than for you. But I'm not living in the past, and I see no sense in disturbing the present process of making a new try. So I will no longer argue about this point, and I generally give the moderators in charge the bonus to do what they think is best for the forum, as long as this does not contradict fundamental principles of CCC when founded. From own experiences of how much work moderating can be (without anyone noticing it) I add thanks for your efforts. Also giving Mr. Tueschen a new chance doesn't seem a problem to me after he began unoffensive posting on rgcc since a while. Why should he not be able to post non-abusive and non-offensive on ccc now? Within rgcc I several times had asked him to do just that, and to get a new start with me and anyone else, without even expecting an apology from him after his extremely bad behavior. He always rejected my offers to do so and to return to not bothering anyone else. But that probably was also due to our antagonism in a heated situation. So I wish the moderators and Mr. Tueschen all the best in having a new try. And I am well able to accept and respect a decision, which would not have been mine, from the present moderators. Just one single point. After all I have been experiencing recently I am not much inclined to accept any kind of offensive rantings any more without hoping for fast and strict reactions of the moderators: also with yellow (and if necessary red) cards, if required. Fundamental rights of not having to suffer from silly ad hominems was *the* *most* *desired* *principle* *of* *CCC* *when* *founded*, and CCC will *only* be worth visiting and mentioning if respect for this fundamental principle will be kept up by all means. I am quite sure that you share this view with me. All the best for your decision. Kind regards from Dirk
