Check your motherboard software, if it doesn't include such a tool. It may be part of a bigger system info program, like I know from my Asus mainboard. That program checks temperatures, fan speed, and includes cooling software too. (Unfortunately my computer case is old, and although I use a *large* coolermaster cpu fan, temperatures of ~70°...85° are "normal" for me... I call that a "winter computer" :o)) For comparison: http://www.asus.com/mb/socketa/a7v333/overview.htm There should be cooling software available for download IMO... either check your motherboard's manufacturer website, or do a google search for "athlon cooling tool" or similar. I expect you'll find even a lot, to choose from. Regards, M.Scheidl P.S. Btw. I've checked if permanent activity (?) of the cooling software affects chess engine speed, and did not notice any impact. - So I could keep "cool" too regarding this. :o)
