Try what Matt Taylor suggested in addition to removing the side panel of your case. This will help lower the ambient case temp until you can get the cooling problem fixed. If you can afford it go to www.pricewatch.com and pick up a "Thermalright SLK-800" heatsink. These are currently the best you can buy. SK6 & SK7 will do excellent as well. If those are still too expensive a Volcano 7+ will work. Good place to find these will be at: http://www.coolerguys.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=001&Category_Code=CPC-AMD You can pick up a screaming 80mm fan from Vantec or Delta but that may be a bit overkill in your situation. There are various 40-50cfm fans (vs the 84cfm & 55dB for the vantec) you can use that won't keep you awake at night. :) You'll also want to add some case fans to get some air-flow going... You can have the best heatsink/fan in the world but if it's recirculating hot air it's not going to do any good.
