Subject: What is the best Windows program to run a chess program???

Hi to all.

I want to know, which is the best windows for run the chess programs, to use in
the Atlon XP 2000 machine.

I think that a lot of programs run a bit slowly in Windows Xp than in Windows
98. Is this true?

Which windows program is the best to use?  (Win95, Win98, WinMe, Win2000 or
WinXp)

Many thanks in advance...  I will like to know all your comentaries.
