there is rightnow the CSS tournament at the fritz server...anyway i had an interesting conversation with a beta tester there... i was bombing him with questions and finnaly he got weak....i wanted to know about shredder and fritz and the strenth difference....he confirmed that shredder 7 is stronger at the same level of fritz 8. but there will be an update on fritz 8 (i guess close to x-mas) it will be a new and improoved fritz 8 engine and some details on 3D- grafics.... the engine improovment is what interests me...it will be an update like fritz 6 to fritz 6a different ..like a fritz 7.0.0.1 to a fritz 7.0.0.8..... then fritz will run away from any other engine...then we will have the strongest engine that ever has been created hope the update will come soon. chessbase and fritz fan
