Fans on video cards are nothing new. My last three cards all had them, the first
being the Diamond Monster Fusion, which I used with my new (then) K6-2/350. I'm
now using a GeForce MX440, though I added a little thermal paste (and surprised
to discover it already had some) due to the heat wave we had a couple of weeks
ago, hitting over 40 degrees (Celsius) 5 times in a single week.
