Dear Mark,

Thanks for your interest and kind words.

As for a rematch, I think I'm just too burnt out. Playing at the rate of a
move/day required too much of a personal sacrifice. I have a wife and 2-kids who
need my time and energy more, not to mention a stressful job. I still enjoy ICCF
chess though, and so I think there won't be anymore computer matches for awhile.

Mark, I'm embarrassed to admit that I've never played against any of my chess
programs at standard OTB time controls. I no longer play OTB chess (no time! My
career and family and Correspondence Chess and other hobbies eat up all my
time). When I have a few minutes of free time, I play speed chess against my
chess engines...and regularly lose.

Yes, there were plans to publish a more detailed analysis from the match,
largely by having me and the chess engines re-analyze each move and my published
analysis out - together. This was to be a commercial effort, but then support
fell through. I also ran out of time, since I was preparing for the ICCF World
Championship Semi-Finals.

Allthe best,

Stephen
