Good people of CCC!

Can we just get back to the basics for a minute?
In a forum such as this, the good quoting principles of usenet apply, and for
the same reasons as usual. Top posting is still a bad idea, this is not
Jeopardy. And cut the text you're not directly responding to. All of this is
just basic technique that I would think people had learned a long time ago
already. Example:

And this example is not even representative. This is not to name names, it is
just an example. On the other hand: Bob, you often don't snip anything, you just
attach 3 lines at the bottom of some 100 line message. I'm sure I do the same,
from time to time. We can do better than this. Let's make CCC a nicer forum by
remembering these simple rules, ok?
