I really don't see much of a good move here since white is faced with Ba6 if he isn't careful, and has to try to hang on to the d-pawn with only a knight to defend it while black can bring a bishop and rook to bear. tough position for white, period... The score for Re3 is so very close to the score for Ne5 that they are probably heading in the same direction. If white plays Re3 Crafty as black won't take, preferring Bb7 instead, to keep the heat on white rather than going for an exchange
