Now, this is a very interesting statement. I hope it's true - and it very well might be - since the Fritz team prepared this version mainly (?) for the Kramnik match. If, f.e. Tiger 16 came out in the market with 30 "comp-comp ELO.s" less than version 15 - but veryfied being tremendously improved in comp- human - I would not hesitate one fraction of a second to order it.
