As far as I know, Fritz has never been available for the Mac, and
there are no plans to do so. ChessBase (not the latest version) is
available for the Mac.

If you just want a strong program for the Mac, HIARCS 6 is available
from ICD/GambitSoft/London Chess Centre. Chessmaster 4000 is also
available, as well as the freeware Crafty Mac, MacChess, and Sigma Chess.

If it is Fritz's features you are interested in, you can buy Virtual PC or
SoftWindows for the Mac. Of course, in doing so, you will have
- added the cost of the PC emulator
- be dealing with DOS/Win95/Win31
- be running considerable slower than a "native" program would.

However, depending on your desires, this might be a satisfactory solution
for you.
