What amount of yearly improvemment of the software as measured in rating points do you think is reasonable to expect? Bear in mind that a doubling of NPS would result in about a 50 rating point improvement with all else (eval, opening book, etc.) remaining the same. I would guess about 10 rating points. Tough to measure and perhaps that is what you are experiencing with those 3 programs. They don't seem to improve, but in reality they are improving at a rate that is all we can reasonably expect, but which is superficially hardly noticeable. It takes major ideas to produce significant improvement. Hard to come by so don't be so hard on the programmers of those programs.
