I expect soon >that List will be a world-beater. Hello Dann, High praise for List indeed. I wonder though, do you have any idea what the recompile that is done to Winboard engines to function under the Chessbase gui does to them in terms of strength etc? Clearly they function without the need to resort to an adapter so that is to their advantage in the CB environment but is Crafty I would like to test drive List 5.04 but with only the much maligned Fritz 6 adapter for the Fritz 6 gui at my disposal, I am unsure of how representative the matches would be. Any comments? Later.
