I am not sure about the law because I am not a lawyer but if there is a law that
say that you are quilty for giving a friend a copy of little goliath then this
law seems to be against justice.

When a programmer decides to do his program freeware then it means that he gives
the program as a gift to all the world and justice tells me that he has no right
to decide that it stops to be a gift and it is a gift only for people who
downloaded the gift.

If the programmer means that people who download the program should not send it
to friend then he should ask the user to sign some paper when the user promise
not to send it to a friend.
