If you click in the about box of cstal, you will find my name in the box under the advisor-line or whatever... so i should know better about the program. >I downloaded the version I use about one week ago from www.oxford-softworks.com the version on the server is broken. it is the wrong version. the programmers who have put this version on the oxford server normally program gomuku and bridge and go programs. They don't know about cstal. they have to fight with chris' children, his chickens, the cats and the dog, the temperatures (hot in summer, cold and windy in winter) and they drink tea the whole day. Die haben also keine Ahnung. Of course you can say: oh - this is the actual version of the server. I will use it. But the serial number of this version (you say it yourself, 284a) is older than 289. From this number you can see that the version 289 (that was on the server a while ago) is the later version. I have no idea why somebody put the broken version on the server. I can only imagine that the programmers in chris office are complete-idiots not knowing what they do. My question now is: if THEY behave like idiots, why do you have to make the same mistake and test a version that is broken ? Although i have told you many times. in public. and even send you the 289 version. And you still test the wrong ?! Aha. ok - fritz5 has to play against caissa in this seventh round. i will not let fritz 5.03 play, but fritz1. I have once bought it from chessBase. >Today is September 18th. Why do you continue to attack me here? Why should i do a stupid test ? that would be time wasting, wouldn't it ? where did i "continue" to attack you ? I just wonder why somebody who has a mind to think and eyes to read and email-adress and the right version (289) still is willingly NOT testing it, and instead uses a broken version. This was all discussed months ago in rgcc and there chris posted that the programmer in charge for putting the versions on the server is an idiot or something like this. But this does not impress you anyway. If the traffic light is red, you die in your VW-Polo behind it, as long as somebody will make it green for you... as a brave german follwing LAWS/RULES and not doing what is forbidden, forbidden, forbidden. Manche verhungern eben hinter einer roten Ampel. Typisch. > > >Kind regards > >Moritz
