Dear friend: Forgive if I take part in your hot debate with Thorsten, but after going many times to Oxford site and playing many times with CSTAL I have verified that Chris does not really update his place neither knows or care about it. An example: some of the publicity phrases you see there were extracted from some articles I wrote elsewhere about CSTAL scarcely after Paris tournament, even before black engine existed. He hust used that stuff and still is there, no matter what. It seems that Chris is not a very careful guy for even tajke care of his own business. I understand him very well because I am very similar in that. So, I can ensure you that blackCSTAL engine -or CSTALblack, whatever- is a lot stronger and no matter what the site say, it is the real upgrade of CSTAL. I hope not to offset you with this, but in this issue Thorsten is right. fernando n September 18, 1998 at 16:11:25, Moritz Berger wrote: >On September 18, 1998 at 15:51:08, Thorsten Czub wrote: > >>again: you don't seem to understand: >> >>you play with an older version 284 that was on the server. >>it is broken. > >I downloaded the version I use about one week ago from www.oxford-softworks.com > >It is the most recent version that you can get under the URL >http://www.oxford-softworks.com/chesstal.zip > >Today is September 18th.
