A friend of mine who's a Star Trek fan has a 3-D chess set based on the tv
series. Very beautiful to look at, but even after reading the rulebook three
times I couldn't figure out how to play. There are 64 squares spread over 7
mini-boards (3 boards of 16 squares each, and 4 boards of 4 squares each).

Personally, I doubt anyone is sure enough of the correct rules to have written a
computer program :)
