Very beautiful to look at, but even after reading the rulebook three times I couldn't figure out how to play. There are 64 squares spread over 7 mini-boards (3 boards of 16 squares each, and 4 boards of 4 squares each). There's a brief description of the game at http://www.chessvariants.com/3d.dir/startrek.html Personally, I doubt anyone is sure enough of the correct rules to have written a computer program :)
