I'm not sure how many of these positions are "positional".
Tinker is not particularly strong tactically nor positionally, so
too much should not be read into the results, but Tinker found
29 positions using simply a material and piece square table evaluation (12 sec
per position average).
Using the "full" evaluation, Tinker only gets 35 of the 50 (8 sec).
For those interested, the "tactical" positions are the ones
with the solution times shown below (seconds on AMD 1900+):

Interestingly, 32, 33, 37 and 47 are not solved by the "full" eval, but are
solved by the "tactical" eval.
Of course, all of this could simply mean that Tinker's evaluation is relatively
"unstable"...
