I went to the web site and downloaded what they had. If you can point the way to where the new version is, I agree with you play the new version. I have had my fill of bogas results. I also went to the gambit soft site to see if it had a better version, but the link to download cst was not working. If there is not a better version for download Moritz can only test what he can get. If this is the version they give to public to use, then that is what should be tested. It is not the fault of Moritz if Chris Whittington gives a broken version to the public and keep it on the site for download. The CHESS.EXE has been substantially improved, mostly by improving the search, better extensions, better pruning, better move ordering. Also, the draw bug from Paris has been fixed. Testers should certainly use this version.
