That wouldn't surprise me.  Genius seems to profit less from faster hardware
compared to most other programs.  I still hope to see an ARM-native version
of Genius, though (it is nice to have more than one strong program to play
against).

This is also something that impresses me very much about Tiger.  The same
exact engine performs very well on slow handhelds as well as the fastest
desktop computers.  I doubt that most other top programs would still play well
when slowed down by a factor of more than 100.

I have noticed the rating of CT on the SSDF list, but it seems to me that
the level of the list is at least 200 points too high.  I guesstimate my
own playing strength to be at most 1900 (I haven't played tournament chess
the last ten years, except a handful of team games), and I score around 60%
in blitz games against CT.  I always head for open, sharp positions, hence
my style should not be particulary effective against computers.  Either I am
a much stronger player than I believe (which is unfortunately very unlikely),
or the level of the SSDF list is far too high.
