I don't personally own a dual-Intel because it's expensive, but I know the AMD boards all require Registered/ECC ram above certain limits. Since it seems to be the future, Registered/ECC ram will probably save you money in the long run if you buy DDR since you won't have to replace it as soon. If you're looking for motherboards, I would consult Tyan first. I believe Asus also makes good P4 workstation boards. I bought my dual-AthlonMP board from Tyan, and I've been quite happy with it. -Matt
