Okay, let's look at this. It sees the 2 ... Qd2-d3 variation at 8 ply, which means the threat of a mate in one following, which is parried by f7-f5. It then sees the better 2 ... Nf3-g5 variation at 9 ply, but continues with 3 ... Nd5xc7 up to ten ply, which isn't the best continuation. You still need more ply to see the full consequences. Would you mind running it a bit further? I'm glad Baron awards it a large negative score throughout. There's obviously something wrong with my evaluation function! Cheers. Mike.
