So I would think it came out somewhere around the same time later. You are quite right. In Germany the Elite A/S came out in November/December 1983 after winning the world micro computer chess chamionship. By the way: One year later this model won again this title (shared with Psion Chess, Conchess and Mephisto III S). It was then known as Elite A/S "Glasgow" (according to the city, where this event was held). Karsten
