Not that it has any relevance to my previous remark. The point was José opinion that his disappointment with the first part was sufficient to boycott the rest, which isn't a relevant critique of the Two Towers. That's all. I haven't mentioned whether I liked the Fellowship and I have made it clear that Two Towers is yet to be seen. But I rather liked the first part and I'm approaching the second part with an open mind and, like other movies, I expect to enjoy the experience. Rummaging through the book mentally (and maybe physically) while watching the movie seems rather silly to me. That is nothing more than a recipe for disappointment. It's a guide for the overarching plot. That has general application for other book conversions. The second point I would like to make is stopping the spoiling. There are probably newsgroups where Faramir's role and other discrepancies can be scrutenized. Thiss thread is sufficiently off-topic as it is. Regards, Mogens
