Hi all: Yesterday I took from one drawer of one of my furniture with lots of drawers - my working room has some likeness to those depicted in private detective movies, full of files et al, only lacking, I regret, the blonde secretary with the great tits and ass- an old portable unit: Travel Champion by Saitek. It was and still is a very reliable unit, packed with many features, very well made, with a loooong life of the three alkaline batteries it uses and finally with a respectable program that, according to Saitek, runs at 2080 "estimated" USCF Elo. OK, that means it runs at about 1750-1800 "real" Elo. Even son, that's an strenght high enough to make possible a decent game of chess. And of course low enought to give us a good chance. In the game played at 30 seconds per move I trounced the little beast and with that I cleaned and erased all the infinite defeats at the hand of mayor monsters alonmg the year. It is a very healthy experience, one that rejuvenates the spirit and it does not cost a cent. Now Saitek lay in my desk, at my side and sight, waiting for another slaughter. Today I feel bloody. I even believe I can play chess. If just that secretary could come... BTW, just in case I do not come back here in time, merry Xtmas to all of you. Fernando
