We do not mean the same when we say 2000 lines.

Example:
I have attack array and pin arrays that are calculated when I make moves and are
used today not for evaluation.
I guess that if these arrays are used in the evaluation you include all the code
to calculate them in the evaluation when I do not do it.

about 3 verification search is implemented in xinix with some modification so it
proves that it can work.

about 1 if the target is to test only the engine and not the opening book
I see no problem because the new engine with random first move can perform
better.
