I'm still using Win98, and I can't use the most recent accelerator by Intel (you also need the software utility installed) but the effect on Fritzmark is neglectable. I can remember it was a difference of some 25 point on a total of 1075 or so (not exactly, but something like that). My processor is a 2.52 GHz and I'm using 128 Mb hash. I also can remember making HT bigger didn't help one bit. I'll check it however and if I'm wrong - I'll...be...back. J.
