In Athlon 750 engine match, each using own book, 96MB hash, (384MB total RAM) 5'+5", 24 games, most EGTB’s (5.5Gig) it was 13-11 in favor of Fritz 8. In decided games 10-8 in F8's favor. Pretty much like your results.
