Go up one level in this thread

i have fritz8. it is installed on an xp computer. it works very well. incidently
xp is based on the ntkernal, so it should work on win2k.
here is the main problem i have (it is arcane)...i set my graphics card to a
super-high resolution like 1600x1200 pixels ( to support multiple gameboards on
the server watching simuls etc.) BUT i cannot exit program when monitor settings
are too high-- it wont close, i maay get as far as the primary splash screen
without crashing, then I need to reset my monitors viewing parameters in order
to close the application. I do not believe that this is a serious problem for
most users and I am sure it will be fixed soon. If your video card has less than
32meg of ram don't think about it.
incidently, i can open databases just fine in f8, but prefer cb8 to do it.
notes : recieved software this past wednesday, i have about a week's experience
as a user but am well versed in fritz7 interface, so no learning curve.
